WHAT IS OXIDATION and Why is waxing important?

Oxidation occurs when the sun, saltwater, and environmental exposure break down the gelcoat, leaving it chalky, faded, and rough to the touch. Without protection, oxidation worsens over time, dulling your boat’s appearance and reducing its value. Based on your boat’s condition, we’ll recommend the right treatments to restore it to peak appearance and protect it for the seasons ahead.

Waxing is the process of applying a protective layer to your boat’s gelcoat or paint, creating a barrier that repels water, resists staining, and shields against harmful UV rays.
